First off, it took me forever to find the 4711 compressor. It is as close to perfect as it'll get for our appliaction. It's set up for serpentine, so you don't have to fight with finding a different clutch. It's easy to bolt up. It has SAE fittings, so you can easily get custom hoses made. It even works with the factory Toyota hoses from the earlier 80's, back before they had to start making their complicated proprietary connections. It allows you to use a quality Sanden compressor that you can rely on. Or, you can opt for one of the cheaper aftermarket brands. Regardless, they're widley available, and this should solve any issues that existed with being able to find new compressors/clutches for the other brackets I've made. This will be the only A/C bracket I build for the OM617 from here on out.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE THE ORIGINAL OM617 SERPENTINE TENSIONER BRACKET (3/16" thick), YOU MUST USE A SPECIAL MID-IDLER MOUNT. I HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER AVAILABLE. THIS IDLER MOUNT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE OEM VACUUM PUMP. ONCE THESE ARE GONE, I WILL NO LONGER OFFER THEM. SELLING AT MY COST, FOR $50.
