This pre-order period will run until Feb 15, 2026. On Feb 16, I will tally up all of the pre-orders and order enough material to manufacture them. Shortly after that point, I will be able to confirm what the final price will be. It will take probably 8-11 weeks to manufacture the kits after Feb 15. I've gotten a quote for the time and material to make just ONE kit. The final cost if only ONE person orders a kit will be $1549 for a kit. The more people we have order kits, the more that price will come down.
I've determined what the minimum amount is I will charge for these kits. When you place your pre-order, you will pay the minimum possible amount up front. Depending on how many orders I receive, you may owe an additional amount when the order is ready to ship. This maximum additional amount is listed in the options when you go to add the part to your cart.So, again, there should be no surprises for you. You will owe the pre-order amount, plus the potential of whatever amount is listed in your product options.

Parts Compatibility:
This kit is designed to work with the transmissions found in the V8 Discovery 1 & 2 (i.e., 3.9L & 4.0L).
The engines that will work include any of the 1.6, 1.9, and 2.0L 4cyl VW diesels (and some 1.8L gassers). The V6 and V10 are different and will not work.

Motor Mounts:
The weld-in kit is made from lase-cut and CNC-formed 1/4" steel. They weld to the frame rail on each side. The RH side motor mount comes disassembled so you can weld it in the exact position you want.
These mounts use Anchor 2469 rubber isolators (you'll need 2). You provide the isolators. The thread pitch is 1/2-13.
